UPDATE There are plans to vastly improve this road "Ascot is proposed to be a ‘shared surface’ (Shared-Space) to give priority to pedestrian and bicycles whilst still allowing cars, albeit in a safe way." www.irwellvalley.co.uk/customers-residents/sale-west/our-plans-so-far/ . There are plans for a beeNetwork routes "Beeways" through the estate mappinggm.org.uk/bee-network/ the final routes are far from clear. Even with a narrow footpath motors will drive and park on pavement and directly underneath a @irwellvalley CCTV camera as well. A pedestrian wheelchair dropped kerb obstructed as well.
