Come Winter everyone will be back in their cars. Would be unwise to block this bridge to traffic. Ewell road is already very narrow for traffic. Parents drive their kids and drop them off at Hollyfield School. Kids will not start walking or cycling they will get the bus or be driven to school. All sounds great in the Summer months that people will cycle or walk but come Winter they get back in their cars or on the buses. More cycle lanes will create more traffic jams. Emergency vehicles won’t be able to get through.
