UPDATE SEPT 2023 Cones are due to be removed. Bridgewater Way Expressway Old Trafford Manchester. Temporary Cycle lanes on most direct route to City Centre. Probably saves 15 to 20 mins on journey from Stretford Mall using the canal route. Is it a good idea to change the name of this expressway as the canal route is also called Bridgewater Way a bit confusing. There are plenty of Trafford people to honour by renaming this road. www.bridgewatercanal.co.uk/things-to-do/the-bridgewater-way/
