Bus stands in St Andrews Street, just around the corner from the main "bus station" in Emmanuel Street.

General traffic is restricted here by the flying motorbike sign. The street is one way to motor traffic, 2 way to cycling - note the sign in the top left of the picture (this sign requires DfT authorisation).

Contraflow cycling is unsegregated between the Hobsons Street junction (the entrance to the "pedestrian priority" area, in the distance) and the junction with Emmanuel St. You can see the start of the cycle lane on the right of the picture, just before the road becomes 2 way to all traffic (behind the camera).

The lady on the bike has just stopped to allow the gent in front of her (who appeared oblivious to her presence) to finish crossing the road. Another example of how aggressive lycra louts bring carnage to the streets ! - ban 'em all I say.
